Where do I start... Our recent trip to Rainbow beach was one we will never forget. My wonderful fiance had planned a 3 night get away for us. Our mini break kicked off with a walk along the beach and a marriage proposal. After all the excitement he took me to the most beautiful accommodation in Rainbow Beach. We were booked to stay in the penthouse. From the moment I walked in - I felt like I was on holidays. The views are amazing. The rooms are modern, open and fresh. The resort is just perfect for a romantic getaway. The managers Tanya and Mark are wonderful and full of local knowledge. Mark even helped us to book a day trip to Fraser Island. Rainbow Ocean Palms Resort is a slice of paradise. The natural setting is amazing and the resort was very quiet and peaceful. The furnishings were excellent and Mark was very helpful in suggesting activities and giving us information about the local area. Feeding the dolphons in Tin Can Bay was one special moment of the trip.....and being proposed to by my amazing fiancee, in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, was definitely the highlight. You will leave Rainbow Ocean Palms with a smile on your face, feeling energised and rested. My family and I came here for a few nights just before the Christmas period and stayed in the 2 bedroom Penthouse suite. The location was approx 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre, not too far, but just enough away to have peace and quite and the flat hadthe most amazing Ocean views of the beach below. My relo's were blown away by the outlook and the general overall high quality furnishings and size and condition of the unit is quite lovely. The staff were friendly, pool lovely and accommodation perfect. Only future wishes for ths place was, as we love the fresh air, we would have loved, to have screen doors onto the balcony area and windows, as at night, as nature takes its course the mosquitoes and bugs come out, but of course there was Air con there, so that helped. We would definitely come back, as it was perfect and it is definitely a place where we would recommend to friends and family to stay. Read more...

This is a truly great resort, just a few apartments with all comfort possible. The apartment had a beautiful fully equipped kitchen, a wonderful bathroom with a spa and a very nice and extremely spacious living room area with a flat screen. Myself and my girlfriend stayed three nights in this apartment and although we thought the other apts we had stayed in on our trip were nice, they were nothing compared to this. I stayed in a 1 bedroom penthouse with a magnificent view of the ocean. The penthouse was very spacious and gave 2 people more than enough room to stretch out.
