Everything You Need for a Smooth Stay


Bedroom layouts are fixed based on the apartment type:

  • 1 Bedroom Apartments – Always feature 1 king bed.

  • 2 Bedroom Apartments – Always feature 1 king + 2 singles. 

  • Some 2 Bedroom Apartments can be configured 1 king + 1 queen.

  • 3 Bedroom Apartments - Always include 1 king, 1 queen + 2 singles

On the day of arrival, you will be sent a text message or email with arrival details including a code to collect your key from the Key Safe at Reception.  Please ensure we have your contact details on your booking.  If you don't receive a code, ring the bell at reception.

Yes, all apartments have at least one car space in an undercover garage.  The penthouse and Ocean View Terrace have two car spaces.

No, pets are not permitted. Only genuine assistance animals are allowed, in line with Australian legislation.

No!  Smoking is not allowed on the property - that includes all common areas.

Booking Terms & Conditions

For direct bookings, a 50% deposit of the total tariff is required to confirm your reservation, with the remaining balance payable up to two weeks before arrival. Bookings made within two weeks of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.

For single‑night stays, full payment is also required when booking.

If your reservation is made through a booking agent, please refer to their individual payment policies.

More than 30 days before arrival: 13.2% cancellation fee of the deposit

14–30 days before arrival: 13.2% cancellation fee of the total booking

Less than 14 days before arrival: No refund

Peak seasons: Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable

Rebooking Policy

More than 30 days before arrival: One complimentary date change is permitted, subject to availability. If the new dates are later cancelled, the standard cancellation policy applies.

14–30 days before arrival: A date change may be requested, subject to availability, with a 13.2% fee applied to the total booking.

Less than 14 days before arrival: Rebooking is not permitted. Any request to change dates within 14 days of arrival is treated as a cancellation and is non-refundable.

Peak seasons: Rebooking is not available within 30 days of arrival. Any request to change dates inside this window is treated as a cancellation and is non-refundable.

Rebooking limit: Only one date change is permitted per booking. After one rebooking, the reservation becomes non-refundable and cannot be changed again.

For booking agent reservations, please refer to their rebooking and amendment policies.

All room rates include a maximum permitted occupancy. Children aged 2–14 years are counted in this total, while children under 2 years are not. Exceeding the stated occupancy will result in cancellation of the booking with no refund issued.

Out of respect for other guests and our neighbours we have a zero tolerance for parties, excessive noise and antisocial behaviour.

Guests are responsible for any damage, breakages, excessive mess, or rubbish left in the apartment. Rainbow Ocean Palms Resort accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items from units or vehicles, and we recommend keeping accommodation and vehicles securely locked when unattended. No refunds will be issued in relation to these matters.
